 I told you what time you had to be at the dentist. I am not to blame if you weren’t there on time.

I didn’t do it. I wasn’t even there when it happened.

I Blame You

Don’t blame me for something I didn’t do.

• It is not my fault 

I told you that the appointment was cancelled. It’s not my fault that you didn’t remember.

• I am not responsible

I was not in charge of the catering so I am not responsible for the lack of food.

• Don’t accuse me of

Don’t accuse me of not sending an invitation to Mary because I sent one to everyone who was on the invitation list.

• You can’t hold me accountable

You can’t hold me accountable for something I didn’t do if I didn’t know I had to do it.
