3. ‘έγινα μούσκεμα’ / ‘soaked to the bone’

Question by ‘tony…’ : Πως λέμε ότι έγινα μούσκεμα;’

My reply to ‘tony…’ ¨Υπάρχουν πολλές εκφράσεις..αυτή που εγώ συνήθως χρησιμοποιώ είναι ‘...I am soaked to the bone…’

Examples:

• Chris went jogging in the rain and when he came back he was soaked to the bone.
• The boys had been walking in the rain for quite a while when they realized they were wet to the bone.
• I took the dog out for a walk but it started to rain. I got  drenched.
• All the players on field soaked themselves to the skin. It rained cats and dogs.

Βέβαια εδώ θέλω να σου πω και μια έκφραση που λέμε στα Ελληνικά …’μουλιάζω’ (διαποτίζω).

• Έβαλα τα ρούχα στη λεκάνη για να μουλιάσουν όλη τη νύχτα..

• Όταν είμαι πολύ κουρασμένος από τη γυμναστική πάντα θέλω ένα καλό μπάνιο στη μπανιέρα.
