Marriage…Wedding…Γάμος..

”Marriage, from love, like vinegar from wine” (Lord Byron)

Για πολλούς ανθρώπους ο γάμος ως μυστήριο είναι πράξη ιερή και αγία. Ο Θεός ‘πάντρεψε’ τον Αδάμ και την Εύα, τους ένωσε στον Παράδεισο, λέγοντάς τους “αὐξάνεσθε καὶ πληθύνεσθε καὶ πληρώσατε τὴν γῆν καὶ κατακυριεύσατε αὐτῆς” (Γενέσ. α’ 28). (And God blessed them, saying: Increase and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it,..) Αυτά είναι ωραία να τα διαβάζει κάποιος αλλά πως θα λέγαμε στην Αγγλική ‘παντρεύομαι’  ‘γάμος’ κλπ.;
